Kristine Hermosa Orille-Sotto was born in Quezon City, Philippines on September 9, 1983. She is a Filipina actress and was well known for her portrayal of Yna Macaspac in ABS-CBN’s primetime series, Pangako Sa ‘Yo co-starred with Jericho Rosales. She is now married to Oyo Boy Sotto, son of comedian Vic Sotto and actress Dina Bonnevie. Tin as she was called is the second among four siblings.
On September 21, 2004, Kristine went through a marriage ceremony with Deither Ocampo, a co-star in Sanay Wala Nang Wakas. The marriage was declared null and void from the very start by the Court of Appeals on January 30, 2009. Kristine is now officially married to Oyo Boy Sotto on January 12, 2011 from whom she has children, an adopted son, Kiel and Ondrea Bliss whom she gave birth to on December 26, 2011.
Tin was discovered at the age of 12 and soon appeared at Ang TV and Gimik. From her succeeding projects, her break was when she was starred in a primetime soap opera, Pangako Sa ‘Yo where she was teamed up with Jericho Rosales. Their tandem was so much a success that it led to two blockbuster films Forevermore and Ngayong Nandito Ka which was released in 2002 and 2003 respectively. She also starred in Sanay Wala Nang Wakas with Jericho Rosales, Deither Ocampo and Angelika Dela Cruz. In November 2003, Kristine Hermosa and Aga Muhlach appeared in a film together in All My Life.

The most recent TV shows she appeared at are Noah as Diwatang Eva, Midnight DJ as Berna and other TV shows such as Precious Hearts Romances Presents, Komiks Presents, Banana Split, Your Song, Your Spell and ASAP.
In her years as an actress, she has gained awards for her efforts.
