On November 1, 1974, Sharmila Velasco Pribhdas-Shahani was born in Davao City. Philippines. Sharmaine Arnaiz to the Filipino audience, she is a versatile actress in the showbiz industry. Sharmaine’s father is of Indian descent and her mother is an Ilongga. Her younger sister, Bunny Paras is also an actress. Her mother and the mother of famous celebrities Patric and Cheska Garcia are sisters. They are all blessed with good looks which become their asset to join in the entertainment business.
Sharmaine Arnaiz met Che Ochoa which is a relative of actor Dominic Ochoa, of which she had a relationship that led to a marriage and bore them three children, Gabriel, Miguel and Amisha Natalia. Sharmaine was so preoccupied with her family and after the death of her father, she focused on taking care of her children.
It was in one instance that Director Maryo delos Reyes met Sharmaine and he encouraged her to make a comeback. Her sister Bunny is staying in the U.S, at the moment with her husband and they have a son, but her daughter by Mo Twister who is suffering from a rare disease affecting the spine. Sharmaine says she is hurt when people write and say that it was probably a bad karma to Mo. She says Moira has nothing to do with whatever her Dad is doing so people should shy away from saying hurtful and baseless accusations to her.
