Nancy Castiglione, a Filipina actress and singer is born Nancy Jimenez Castiglione on February 24, 1981 in Canada and of Italian and Filipino descent. She grew up in Canada and pursued a course in Political Science at the University of Monitoba in Canada.Nancy was linked to actor Luis Manzano and Jayden Kho and recently gave birth to twin boys named Mateo and Joaquin.
In the year 2000, Nancy Castiglione decided to visit the Philippines for a vacation. She was not planning for a showbiz career however her vacation here in the Philippines was a stepping stone towards the start of her acting career. Through a certain talent scout and because of her charm and beauty, Nancy was immediately offered to appear in a commercial. She first appeared in the Red Horse Beer commercial. Since then she has been appearing in numerous commercials and eventually became one of the most in demand endorsers of many products. This also paved the way for her to pursue a career in modeling. She appeared in the spreads of magazines like Maxim and FHM. She posed as cover for the leading men’s magazine FHM twice and was ranked as the second sexiest woman in the Philippines in Uno Magazine in the year 2007.
Nancy Castiglione was a contract artist under GMA Network when she a mainstream artist in the television series Sana Ikaw Na Nga and her extraordinary performance have qualified her for the Best New Female Actress in the Star Awards. Aside from acting, she also hosted the first ever episode of Starstruck, a talent search for new young artists of GMA-7 and became a VJ in some music channels. Her first movie appearance was in the movie I Think I’m In Love and appeared in the TV series Mulawin.
