Jomari Yllana, a Filipino actor, model, concert producer and promoter is born Jose Maria Garchitorena Yllana on August 16, 1976 in Manila. He is the brother of comedian actors Anjon and Ryan Yllana. He is the ex-husband of actress and politician Aiko Melendez with whom he has a son named Andrei. He also had a relationship with actress, Ara Mina and singer Pops Fernandez.
Jomari Yllana started his career in acting as a member of the 90’s teen group called Gwapingsalong with Mark Anthony Fernandez,Eric Fructuoso and later with Jao Mapa. He appeared in many TV shows for both GMA-7 and ABS-CBN and made his recent return to GMA-7 via a special guest role in the series Zorro and became a contestant in Celebrity Duets. He also played a role in the TV series Rosalinda. Jomari made his return in movies like Yaya and Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie with ex-wife Aiko Melendez.
Aside from acting, Jomari Yllana is also a successful promotional and commercial model here in the Philippines. He was a product endorser for Bench Clothing Line. At present Jomari manages a joint business venture, Fearless Productions with Ronald Singson which promotes concerts in the Philippines to both international and local artists. Jomari is also into sports and race cars. He used to drive professionally for Toyota Team Tom’s in the late 1990’s. He still continues to be a car enthusiast and has recently launched his new motorsport outfit, Yllana Racing.
