A former Filipino child star, Anna Gianelli de Belen was born on May 25, 1973 in Quezon City. Known by her stage name Gelli De Belen, she is a Filipino actress turned a full time wife and a mother to her children. At 8 years old Gelli de Belen is already enjoying popularity as a famous child actress in the Philiipines movie and television industry. She is the sister of Janice de Belen, also a Filipino actress and a TV host. She is married to Ariel Rivera, a Filipino singer and also an actor.
Gelli de Belen left the show business in order to focus more of her time to her children and husband. She also joined the automotive industry like the Fiat, Volkswagen Group, Fuji Heavy Industries, General Motors, and Karsan. She even became the General Motors Director as well of Fiat, Karsan, Fiat, Volkwagen group and Fuji Heavy Industries. Prior to here retirement in her show business career, Gelli has earned a nomination as Best Actress in the Manila Film Festival for her role in the film Gagay: Prinsesa ng Brownout. She also played the role of Sarah Jane Salazar in the true to life film The Secrets of Sarah Jane: Sana’y Mapatawad Mo, which is a film about a Filipino AIDS victim which earned her the title as the Best Actress. Gelli also ventured in television hosting.
