Royette Padilla is the brother of Filipino popular actors Robin, Rommel, and Rustom Padilla. He is also an actor in Philippine entertainment. Their mother is Eva Carino-Padilla and he is married to Jean Sheryl Padilla.
Royette has been involved in so many controversies, one of which is the case filed by his own wife allegedly physically hitting her. It was recalled that the beating was a continuation of a domestic problem and happened inside a resto bar at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, Philippines. It all started when Jean tried to tell Royette to leave the bar because they were the only customers left. Royette denied all the allegations. The case had eventually been withdrawn by Jean and the owner of the resto.
Although the case had been withdrawn, there is still another pending case under the Angeles Police Station that has a warrant of arrest for a frustrated homicide case filed since 1998. He was later turned to the city jail, but bailed out the next day.
His mother had been vocal about Royette’s controversies and was very emotional about the experiences he had undergone when Royette was still in the rehabilitation center. Royette accused the center of physical and emotional torture that patients are being subjected to. And because of Royette can take the abuses anymore, he decided to run away from the center. Royette had granted a television interview in a remote are after the incident, and expressed his disappointment over the fact that it was his family who had strongly pushed to bring him in a rehabilitation center. He even accused his mother of meddling with his personal life.
The center brushed off Royette’s allegations strongly denying that all practices are allowed and administered for disciplinary measures only. Mommy Eva also confirmed her disagreement about H-world because it was not right and rebellion is always a mistake. She had also problems with his son’s alcoholic problems, thus the need for a rehab. She is fully aware of the disciplinary actions the center is imposing so there is no truth whatsoever to Royette’s allegations.
A mother is always the first one to feel the pain, Mommy Eva shares, but if everything is for Royette’s good, she will allow whatever she deemed is necessary to change him for the better.
Royette was also the head of the sensational H-World United nations Philippine Military Government International Police Commissions, a religious group that became a private army. Royette however admitted that he understood his mother because he knows he loves him very much and just want to protect him.
Royette has been the President of Utopia International Inc., which is one of the world’s most trusted socio-economic developers. He used to collect Pagcor scraps in Clark Air Base that can be recycled for construction of the Aeta’s houses in Bamban, Tarlac.
He promised his mom to make good especially that he had his family already. Royette also hopes that one day everything will be alright and that all the trials and challenges that he has been encountering will finally come to an end.
