Daiana Menezes is a Brazilian model and actress who was born on June 20, 1987. She is working as an actress, host and model in the Philippine entertainment industry. She was mostly remembered as one of the hosts in the noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga.” Back home, she was helping her father in their shoe business which gave her the idea to take a design course in the fashion business. Daiana later decided to drop school to pursue her modeling career. This paved the way for her to have offers and opportunities from other Asian countries such as Thailand and the Philippines.

Before she came to the Philippines, she was already doing several commercials in the international scene. She then became a TV personality in GMA 7 and TV5 networks who gave her the chance to show her acting prowess and hosting talents. In the 2009 issue of the Philippine version “Maxim,” and October 2011 issue of the “FHM,” she was featured in the magazines respectively.

Her commercial modeling was enhanced and in no time she was one of the hottest and desirable Television commercial models. Some of her appearances include endorsing Baliwag and Master Siomai, Nailfiles, Rebisco Hansel crackers, Texas Wild chips, Choco Mucho, Judge chewing gum,Sassa active wear, Belo, Pretty Looks, Lady Grace and make up Ever Bilena among the few.

During the 20th Annual Asia Pacific Excellence Awards led by Chairman Jonathan Navea and Japanese educator Dr. Seiji YII-Kagawa, Daina was awarded 2012 Global Awards as Outstanding Ramp Model and Commercial Endorser. The award was considered very prestigious. In 2012, she had already done six movies and she has a leading role in three films.

Aside from being an international model, she is also a pianist and a painter. Eventually she met Benjamin Benaldo who was then the Cagayan de Oro Representative. Unfortunately, he lost in the 2013 elections. Recently, News broke out of the alleged marital problems between Daiana and him and he lost in the political seat that he attempted to commit suicide in the midst of the controversies.

Daiana considers all challenges in her life happen to make one stronger. It is relatively important that you just know how to deal with these, and figure out how everything happened, learn and move on. Moving on from a particular painful experience can be difficult but it does make you a better person. These are what Daiana wants to share with everyone. She says that difficulties, problems and hardships are meant to happen to prepare you with something better.

Daiana says that although you need to get hurt before learning, you actually need to undergo this process. The important thing is you have to look up, thank God, and love yourself first before you can share and give love to other people. If you cannot love yourself first, then who else will do? These are encouraging words that came from Daiana, a celebrity in her own right.

She is still busy doing her job as an international model, actress and a TV personality.
