Born on May 25, 1972, Jennifer Adriano-Molia is more popularly called Rosanna Roces in Philippine showbiz world. She is a Filipina actress in the 1990’s and considered as one of the hottest and sexiest movie personality in her time. Rosanna came from a German-Jewish ancestry, and was adopted by a considerate father but an uncaring mother. She divorced her husband and had two children with her.

Seiko films was the first to introduce her in “Ana Maceda,” wherein she had her first contract agreement from 1994 – 1996. It was followed by “Ligaya Ang Itawag Mo Sa Akin,” by Reyna Films which marked her first serious role as an actress.

Rosanna Roces then engaged in TV hosting and appearances, and served as a replacement to Dawn Zulueta on “Startalk,” aired over GMA 7 until 2004. A misunderstanding occurred between her and Lolit Solis that paved the way for Rosanna to transfer in ABS-CBN and did some TV appearances such as “1 for 3,” opposite Vic Sotto and Charlene Gonzales and “Daboy En Da Girl,” with Rudy Fernandez from 2002 -2003. In ABS-CBN’s “Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?”, She portrayed the role of Patria and Rosario in “Ysabella.” In “Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik,” she played the role of Veronica Rubio. In 2009, she appeared once of the final episode of “Tayong Dalawa,” also in ABS-CBN. In 2011, she was seen in TV5 Mini Series, “Sa Ngalan Ng Ina,” opposite Nora Aunor.

Rosanna Roces lived a very colorful life on and off screen and she was as controversial as dramatic compared to her screen portrayals in more than three dozen of movies and TV shows. Right from the beginning of her career, she was already honed with controversies as an actress and even in her personal life.

Her decision to move on to more complex and serious roles resulted in a public and critical recognition, which proved her talent skills as a true actress. It was in her movie “Ligaya ang Itawag Mo sa Akin” that she gained her first acting nomination as a Gawad Urian Best Actress. In another movie, “Curacha ang Itawag mo sa Akin,” she was once again recognized and nominated for the same category the next year.

Rosanna Roces had been in a problem with his son Onyok recently. Although they had misunderstandings which were highly sensationalized through social networking site such as Facebook, she has to beg off to spare them from the press since he is not a showbiz personality after all, and instead focus on more important problems and issues on the government and the country as well. This is just a matter of mother and son problem that was blown out of proportion, a family problem that only they themselves can have found solutions. However, she gave an exclusive interview with Cristy Fermin to clear the issues aired over TV5 showbiz news.
