A self-confessed fan of her mother, Jackie Lou takes her as an inspiration, especially in her ageless beauty. Her mother’s age is even a mystery to them, because she still manages to walk around in skimpy mini skirts and tight fitting leggings.
Jackie Lou has that special trait of being a wise-spender and practical shopper. Whenever she shops for anything, she always thinks twice for the need to buy. And more, she is not for the brand, but rather for the usefulness of a certain product. She says, splurging is not her cup of tea. Jackie doesn’t even consider herself a fashionista because she goes for comfort and the safe side in choosing clothes. For her, she enjoys wearing jeans and white tops and ballet shoes, aside from her Espadrilles.
If there are brands that she prefers, it is not for the reason for a particular name but rather the comfort she gets in wearing them. She was not even aware that she is using a Guess bag, a gift from her mom, Pilita. Jackie Lou is more practical than anyone else in the showbiz industry, a trait that you can seldom see in movie personalities like her.
Jackie Lou is an all around person, and she had even tried doing some theater plays. She remembers doing plays mostly in the Filipino language and by that time she auditioned in a Broadway musical entitled “The Heights,” she felt like this was her first time. She feels fulfilled and successful in her life after all the achievements and experiences she had in her career in the industry. Currently, she is focusing on wellness, fitness and total healthy being. She enjoys her family and proud to be grandparent to her grandchildren.
