Geoff Eigenmann is a model, an actor and a host who comes from a clan of show business personalities. He was born on March 23, 1985 and is the third generation of Mesa and Gil clans of actors. He stands 5”8 and have the handsome profile of his popular actor father Michael De Mesa. His mother Gina Alajar is also a showbiz icon herself and his paternal grandparents Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil are also showbiz people in their own time. His Spanish and American bloodline made him one of the best looking young Filipino actor in the country. His two other brothers Ryan and AJ Eigenmann are also actors. He is the nephew of the well acclaimed Filipino actress Cherrie Gil and is the cousin of the young actor Gabby Eigenmann and actress Andy Gil. Geoff studied at the International Christian Academy for middle school and at the Shekinah Christian Training Center.
His showbiz career began under the management of GMA 7 Network and later became a member of Star Magic of ABS CBN Network. After his contract with the company expired he moved back under the GMA Network. He was paired with Heart Evangelista as his on-screen partner. His first television appearance was Ang TV which was aired in 1992 and is a child oriented show by the ABS CBN Network.
Geoff’s 1st TV appearance was a kid-teen oriented comedy gag show, Ang TV on ABS-CBN 2 in 1992, that was his first career in acting and was his first exposure for acting. He also hosted in the Palmolive Circle of 10 which was a reality show in ABS CBN. He also hosted in ASAP as well as in MYX as a VJ. His other hosting appearances include SOP Rules and Party Pilipinas under GMA 7 Network. Geof has a promising television acting career. In 2008 he was made part of the cast of the SRO Cinemaserye where he appeared in series of episodes. He also appeared in Sine Novela: Kung Aagawin Mo Man Ang Lahat sa Akin which was short term as he was replaced by JC Tiuseco. Geof had several television projects in 2009 one of which was the Rosalinda. He was paired with Carla Abellana. Their tandem was taken further to do the reality show under GMA, the Puso Ng Pasko: Artista Challenge. Geof and Carla were also paired in the television shows Sine Novela Presents: Basahang Ginto and then the Magic Palayok in 2011. He was then reunited with his former real life and on-screen sweetheart Heart Evangelista in a drama series Legacy.
Geoff Eigenmann was under contract with Star Cinema where his first movie appearance was in the Bcoz of U with Heart Evangelista. This was followed by another movie project, First Day High which he co-starred with other young actors and actresses like Jason Abalos, Gerald Anderson, Maja Salvador and Kim Chiu. He had the chance to make a movie with the late hip hop artist icon Francis Magalona in the Indie film Anak Ni Brocka. He was also able to work with KC COncepcion and Richard Gutierrez in the movie For the First Time and appeared in the horror movie Villa Estrella which starred John Estrada, Shaina Magdayao and Maja Salvador. In 2009, he was able to film the award winning movie Ang Panday which star actor turned Senator Raon Bong Revilla, Jr.
