Born on November 21, 1989, Ejay Lasap Falcon is a Filipino model and actor who is presently a talent of ABS-CBN Network. He was the grand winner of a reality search show Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus also on the same network. Ejay’s father has a French descent and his mother came from Mindoro, Philippines. Ejay is a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo. When he was at a very young age, her mother left and the family had not heard from her ever since. He went to Manila at the age of 15 to look for her mother only to find out that she already has another family. During his stay in Manila, he had a chance to go to school and enroll in a Hotel and Restaurant Management course but because of financial situation, he was forced to quit schooling for a while and find some means to support himself. It was at this time of his life that he met Benjie Alipio, who currently stands as his manager, and asked him to join a talent search in Star Circle Batch 10. Although he did not come out as the winner, it opened opportunities for him to work in various TV guestings and shows.
Ejay got to audition at the biggest reality show in the Philippines “Pinoy Big Brother, Season 2” where he luckily was one of the competitors. Ejay still recalls the time when arrived in Manila, he had difficulties in operating technological devices, elevators and escalators. He was clad in a Tarzan costume when he entered the PBB house.
Robi Domingo was his closest contender in the battle for the top slot in the reality show. Ejay won and got the big winner place on Day 75 of PBB. He garnered a total of 36.31% of the text votes and went home with a business package from Crystal Clear worth P1.5M, a kitchen showcase, LCD television set, a condominium unit, and a cash prize in the amount of P1 Million pesos. After he won the contest, he was immediately met by controversies on the real status of his life. He was rumored to be a “call boy” and not really a true blooded “promdi” which he denied and said God knows the truth and only He can give the real decision. The director of the reality show, Laurenti Dyogi defended Ejay from detractors stating that he won not because of his status in life but rather how much he had learned from his experiences in the house.
In 2008, his first TV exposure was when he guested in “That’s My Doc,’ with fellow housemate, Valerie Weigmann. But before that he had already appeared on various TV programs in ABS-CBN.
