Claudine Barreto, a Filipina multi awarded actress, entrepreneur and product endorser is born Claudine Margaret Castelo Barretto on July 20, 1979 in Manila Philippines. She is the youngest among four sisters. Claudine’s parents are Miguel Alvir Barretto and Estrella Castelo Barretto. Her sisters Gretchen Barreto-Cojuanco and Marjorie Barreto are also famous celebrities in the Philippines. Her older sister Gia is a teacher in Boston, Massachusetts.
She is known to have dated actors like Mark Anthony Fernandez, Diether Ocampo and the late Rico Yan. She had a strained relationship with Rico Yan’s family after his death in March 29, 2002 because she was partly blamed for Rico’s untimely death whom she shared a long time relationship. Claudine is married to actor Raymart Santiago. Together they have a son named Rodrigo Santino and an adopted daughter named Sabrina. She has the same birthday with her husband Raymart but with different birth year. Her husband is older for six years.

Claudine Barretto was involved in a controversy after a brawl with the journalist Mon Tulfo in a local airport in May 2012. The couple filed a petition for protection against the Tulfo brothers after the incident. She also had to tighten her security after a stalker tried to kidnap her daughter Sabrina on March 2009.
