Camille Prats, a Filipina actress is born Sheena Patricia Camille Quimbao Prats on June 20, 1985. She is the second child of Daniel Rafael and Alma Quiambao from Pampanga. She has a sister and three brothers one of which is also an actor, John Prats.
Camille’s showbiz career started when she became a contestant for Little Miss Philippines in a popular noontime show, Eat Bulaga aired in GMA-7. She moved on and joined the kid-oriented show, Ang TV which was shown in ABS-CBN. She is recognized as one of the original talents for Star Magic Studio of ABS-CBN since 1992. Camille is currently signed under GMA-7 and under the management of ALV. Camille became a child star when she played a role in the movie Sarah…Ang Munting Prinsesa which was released in the year 1995. This movie was based on the children’s novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, A Little Princess. Growing up as a teen she also played roles in sitcoms and teen-oriented TV series. As she matured, Camille shed off her princess image and posted for a well-known men’s magazine, FHM Magazine in 2006. Camille is currently on shows like SOP Gigsters, Super Twins and a sitcom Ganda Ng Lola Ko aired on Quality Television, a subsidiary of GMA-7 Network. She also played a role as one of the leading ladies of Richard Gutierrez in the series Captain Barbell.
Camille Prats decided to go to the United States to continue her studies and made a showbiz comeback in 2009. During her comeback she played a role in the Horror Movie T2 distributed by Star Cinema which is Under ABS-CBN. She was also invited on Kapamilya Deal or No Deal a game show also aired on ABS-CBN. Her appearance in these shows sparked rumors that she will go back to ABS-CBN but she confirmed via PEP.com that she will still remain as a contract actress with GMA-7. She also appeared in the drama series in GMA-7, Gaano Kadals Ang Minsan? Her biggest break after coming back to showbiz was when she played the role of Sandra Santiago/Susan Velasco in the TV series Munting Heredera which aired on GMA 7 which was the most watched TV drama in primetime.
Camille Prats confirmed her marriage to Anthony C. Linsingan, founder of Wheels Auto Performance. They were civilly wed at The Albertson Wedding Chapel in Los Angeles California on January 5, 2008. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Nathaniel “Nathan” Caesar P. Linsangan on January 25, 2008. Her world tumbled down after her husband’s death on September 23, 2011 due to nasopharyngeal cancer at a young age of 31. Now, Camille has accepted her husband’s death and continues to move on being a good actress and a good mother to her son.
