He entered the industry back in 2010 and became part of various Kapuso series such as “Alakdana,” “Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts,” “Mundo Mo’y Akin,” “Carmela,” and “Ilustrado.” His star grew even brighter when he joined “Eat Bulaga” and was accidentally paired with Yaya Dub, Maine Mendoza, forming the Phenomenal Love Team known as AlDub. Since reaching the peak of his career, Alden has proceeded to topbill some of his home network’s biggest projects such as “Destined To Be Yours,” “Victor Magtanggol,” “The Gift,” and “The World Between Us.” He is also one of the main stars of the highly-anticipated Filipino adaptation of the popular K-drama series “Start-Up.” In the big screen, Alden’s film, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” together with Kathryn Bernardo holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing Philippine film of all time. Alden is also a successful concert performer and has sold out multiple shows. Aside from acting and performing, another one of his passions is philanthropy and has put up the AR Foundation in the hopes of helping students in need finish their studies
Alden Richards, dubbed as “Asia’s Multimedia Star,” is an award-winning Filipino actor, host, model, entrepreneur, and recording artist. He is known for his hosting stint in the noontime show Eat Bulaga, and his various roles on television such as Dennis in Tween Hearts, Tisoy in One True Love, Yago Flores in Carmela, Jose Rizal in Ilustrado, and Sep in The Gift. In 2019, he starred in the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, the Philippines’ highest-grossing local film of all time. After his mother died, to support his family financially and to fulfill his mother’s wish for him to be an actor, Richards decided to join various male beauty pageants in Laguna and worked as a part-time commercial model. He holds the titles Ginoong Sta Rosa 2009 and Ginoong Laguna 2010. He auditioned for the reality television shows StarStruck and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash of 2010, but both auditions failed.
