Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre, better known as Nadine Lustre in the movie industry was born on October 31, 1993 in Quezon City, Philippines. Her parents were Myraquel Paguis-Lustre and Ulyses Lustre. Nadine is a young Filipina actress, singer and a dancer in the Philippine showbiz industry. She started joining showbiz in RPN 9’s children oriented show entitled “Storyland,” and from there she became one of the member of the cast in TV5’s youth-oriented program ‘Bagets.” After the show, various offers and opportunities came in. Nadine also appeared in the movies “Petrang Kabayo,” a Vice Ganda starrer, and she was given “PS I Love You,” a TV5 teleserye.
Nadine was a member of the Pop Girls, until she was replaced by talents Carlyn Ocampo and Aubrey Caraan. It was actually Viva Management that decided on this because they want Nadine to focus on her acting career instead. Nadine had also appeared in TV shows such a “Maynila,” ‘Hey, It’s Saberdey,” and “Sunday Funday.” During Pop Girl’s days, she had displayed her singing and dancing skills much to the amazement of her audience. Nadine was very active during her school days where she had joined almost all kind of activities to further her talents.
Although she had all the qualities of a true performer, she continued to pursue and improve her skills through workshops. She had also appeared in television commercials and endorsements. . Known to some, Nadine is also into Painting and Photography, and loves skateboarding as well. She had been joining cosplays because she also loves anime and manga.
Nadine is now the new VJ on MYX, which proved her talent in hosting. She is now a member of the VJ group together with Sam Concepcion, Champ Lui Pio, Nikki Gil and Iya Villania. Other new VJs were Michelle Ng, Mike Mariano ad Krisca, “K.A.” Antonio.
As a singer, Nadine had already released her self-debut album entitled “Total Princess” under Vicor Music. The album had a carrier single “Alam Mo Ba,’ with 16 tracks, and according to Vicor, the album has sold 20,000 copies. Later in the year, she was given the Gold Record Award and it sold another 50,000 copies and eventually reached the double platinum. In 2012, she released her second album entitled “Only Girl.”
Furthermore, she had also worked in ABS-CBN and appeared in a comedy program ‘LUV U.” She had her major concert last April 2013 at the Araneta Coliseum entitled “I Love You Nadine: The Concert.” She then appeared in IBC’s “Boyfriend” produced by Viva television. She also became a regular on the Sunday Musical variety show “It’s Party Time.”
Nadine is a talented performer, a well-rounded TV and movie personality who hopes to be successful in her career in the future. She is ready to face all the challenges that will come her way and is willing to do better in her career. One day, she wants to prove herself that she did not regret choosing this career in her life.
