RR Enriquez‘ real name is Romyreen Enriquez who is born on October 19, 1985 in Manila, Philippines. She is a Filipina TV personality, a model and a dancer at the same. It was in a noontime variety show in ABS-CBN “Wowowee,” that she was first discovered. RR is one of the members of the dance group called “ASF,” but later promoted to be one of the hosts of the said show. Her co-hosts back then were Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion and Pokwang. Currently, she is included in a comedy show “Banana Split,” also shown in ABS-CBN on late evenings. RR is considered among one of the sexiest stars in Philippine entertainment.
RR’s first encounter in the television industry was when he joined the search for a reality TV show “The Next White Castle Girl” where she had successfully debut. This beauty caught the attention of Anna Feliciano, a veteran choreographer and manager of ASF dancers. Anna approached her to join the group in which she gladly accepted. RR had various appearances in TV shows in ABS-CBN such as “Eva Fonda” a remake of the 1976 movie and played the role of Virgie. Other shows include “Your Song,” “Boystown,” and “Love Me, Love You.”
RR was well-loved by her followers because of the humor and fun that she had projected as her image. She had also proven herself that her talent is not limited to dancing only as shown by her acting and hosting skills. Although she had been given a break and opportunity among the ASF dancers, she still remains to be humble and her feet are firmly placed on the ground. These are also some of the reasons that she stood out from among the others.
Once again, a once in a lifetime offer knocked her door when she was asked to be the cover girl of the June 2008 issue of Maxim Magazine, which she considered a chance to prove she’s got the looks and appearance that can be expressed through creative photo shoots. As expected, the magazine gained higher sales because she had graced its cover. Almost everyone is curious about how sexy she would appear in print. Just a few months back before her, her co-ASF dancers namely Milagring, Luningning and Mariposa, who are equally popular in their own right, had also been the cover of the said magazine. RR was asked to compare her to these girls, and RR in full humility said there is really no comparison because each of them is pretty and sexy in their own unique way.
Furthermore, she had also been a cover girl of another famous Men’s Magazine “FHM” Philippine version. She appeared in the glossy cover issue of June 2009. Approvingly, her audience gives a big ‘yes’ as RR gives her best in the photo sessions. She was really one of the sexiest stars in the history of FHM magazine. RR was also endorsing “Paradise Mango Rum,” back in 2008.
Today, RR still continues to dance in various TV shows of ABS-CBN network. She still hopes that someday, she can also be given the chance to portray roles that are more challenging wherein she can leave her mark as a character actress.
