The bureau stated that it is suing Ryan for a tax liability which amounted to 1.82 miliion Php including interests and surcharges. In answer to this, Ryan Bang made a statement in February of this year that he is willing to appear before the Bureau of Internal Revenue to give his side and resolve the said issue. In Korea, Ryan Bang is Bang Hyun Sung, born on June 16, 1991 in Seoul South Korea. Being an only child, his parents sent him to study in one of the International School here in the Philippines. He rose to fame and popularity when he joined and participated in one of the reality show called “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash” in 2010 where he won 2nd place. This opened great opportunities for him and various offers in comedy shows, hosting, singing, recording and acting began coming his way.

His first show was “3ow Powhz!,” on Studio 23 in 2010 and lasted till 2011 after which he became one of the judges in the noontime show “Showtime,” in ABS CBN. He was the longest running judge from Season to Season 4 of the said noontime show that eventually made him a regular host. In the comedy gag show “Banana Split,” he proved his comedy skills and earned him to be a mainstay of the show.

In 2012, he was given the award as Best Reality Game Show Host in the 26th PMPC Star Awards for TV. Among several of his TV appearances include “Kung Ako’y IIwan Mo,” “Gandang Gabi Vice,” “I Dare You,” “Shout Out,” “Happy Yipee Yeheey,” “Matanglawin,” “ASAP,” and Studio 23’s “EsKWELAhan ni Ryan.” Movie appearances are from “Every Breath You Take,” “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme,” and a guesting role in “Born To Love You,” with Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto on the starring role. In person, Ryan is friendly, kind and had a great sense of humor, which gained him friends. His performance in school is outstanding and he had the qualities of a good leader. Being a Class President when he was in high school and head of the Student Council proves that he is not only a comic but a serious individual who is qualified to do more worthwhile things. Some of his projects as a student leader were Youth Lens Program and Reedley Talent Show. Ryan may be a funny man, yet he is also a hopeless romantic to his girlfriend and a thoughtful son to his parents.

Ryan Bang has also his share of disappointments and problems in life. Recently, the Bureau of Internal Revenue called his attention on a tax evasion complaint which amounted to 1.82 million pesos that included interests and other surcharges. Ryan was surprised and taken aback, but was man enough to face the charges. He said he was willing to settle and compromise whatever his responsibilities are towards the Philippine government.

Although others consider him successful, Ryan stays humble with his feet still on the ground. A lover of sports and wellness, he still finds time playing basketball with his friends, or sometimes soccer and even golf. He vows to be back to school when he had saved enough for his education. Ryan values education more and hopes to earn a degree someday.
