This Filipina model and beauty title holder in the field of Philippine movie and entertainment industry is Patricia Marie Tumulak who was born on May 8, 1992. She lives in Quezon City and stands 5’5” tall. She studied at Miriam College on Child Development and Education minor in Special Education, and enrolled at Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty in Ortigas Branch and took Basic Glamour-Bridal Make up a year after. Patricia is the 1st runner up in the Miss Philippines Earth in 2009. She is fondly called Patty, Push or Pusher by friends and colleagues.
Patricia joined the 2011 Binibining Pilipinas and was considered as one of the well-loved, controversial candidate of her time. This is because she had a good start at the Miss Earth Competition, displaying a good performance and the qualities of a real beauty and brains. Although she did not win the pageant, she proved to be a Filipina depicting a strong and confident character.
Patricia’s favorite hobby is photography and watching movies and DVD’s. She also had her favorite Hollywood and Local stars such as Ashton Kutcher and Josh Dumael, John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual respectively. Her favorite movies are “I am Sam,” “Not One Less,” and “One More Chance.” She says joining a prestigious pageant like the Binibining Pilipinas has always been her dream and if she had won the title, definitely she would champion HIV/Aids prevention and she would be a beauty with a purpose to give greater impact to mankind.
Before she joined Binibining Pilipinas, she did some voluntary teaching in an elementary school. One of the things she wants to do in the future include finishing a Master’s degree in Special Education and to establish her own preschool. She wants to be an instrument in shaping children’s young minds to be conscious about earth’s ecological development. It is her one way of teaching youth to take care of our earth for future generations. It is actually Patricia’s biggest dream and passion. Patricia is a sweet and down to earth person. She admits she is a ravenous eater and had a sweet tooth.
