Nina Ricci Alagao is a Filipina actress, model, make-up artist, host and a former “Binibining Pilipinas 2000” and represented the country in the Miss Universe Pageant in 2000. The pageant was held in Nicosia, Cyprus. Standing 5’9”, this beautiful, charming lady grew up in Pasay City, Philippines and finished her degree at the University of the Philippines. Nina Ricci is an artist in the real sense of the word because she is also interested in painting, drawing, singing, make up works and does some modeling stints in her available time.
During the Bb. Pilipinas contest, Nina Ricci was a favorite among the contenders because of her physique of a professional model, and has the qualities of a winner. She had expressed herself well and expands her response to the last question that was thrown to her, and made her win the title. Nina unexpectedly won five special awards namely, Best in Swimsuit, Miss Pal Sunniest personality, Miss Vaseline Healthy Glowing Skin, Binibining Avon, and Miss Talent.
After winning the title, Nina had joined the Philippine entertainment industry and had various TV hosting, guest appearances and appeared in various TV shows. She was also one of the lead stars in “Bikini Open,” a comedy movie about bikini contests. Nina also worked as a host to “Easy Dancin,” at ABC 5. Modelling had been her first love and doing make-up works, thus she wants to pursue more in this area of her career. In the midst of her acting and modeling career, she met Michael Flores, a Filipino actor, comedian, dancer and businessman, fell in love and eventually married. They were blessed with three boys.
Being an artist, she had also enhanced her skills in painting wherein she launched her first solo painting exhibition entitled “Limited Seats Only,” the concept of which was a sort of invitation to guess what kind of subject would be sitting in each seat, and how the subject would treat the seat. Nina expressed her love of painting when she was just four years old and started scribbling images on the papers. She inherited this talent from her father who was also an artist and her mentor. He serves as her inspiration up to this very day, and desires to continue and fulfill his unrealized dream to be a painter.
Today, despite a mother of three boys and a loving wife to Michael, she still finds time to take care of herself and maintain that rockin-body she is proud of. That was already some 12 years ago, but her figure remained the same even after giving birth. Exercise and diet are some of the important things she points out. And besides, being a celebrity in her own right, it is necessary to always be fit and looking good. Nina is much a career woman but she and Michael had a vow to prioritize their family whatever it takes. A contented and fulfilled woman, Nina is a picture of a happy mother and wife.
