Born on January 14, 1985, Jason Jimenez Abalos joined the Philippine showbiz industry by being a talent of ABS-CBN’s group of newbie’s via Star Magic Circa. Although he graduated as a Civil Engineer at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology in 2003, he did not stop dreaming that one day he can become a movie star and an actor. After auditioning in a reality show for new stars called the Star Circle Quest, he was already discovered and this was the beginning of his career. He made an indie film entitled “Adela” which was under the direction of Adolf Alix, Jr. which top billed veteran actress Anita Linda. Jason won an award for this movie as Best Performance by Male or Female, Adult or Child, Individual or Ensemble in Leading or the Supporting Role Award under the Young Critics Circle Annual Citation at the Bulwagang Rizal, University of the Philippines in Diliman. On October of the same year, Jason Abalos won another prestigious award in Gawad Urian Awards for the movie “Endo” as Best Actor.
Considered to have good looks and body, many believe that Jason can have the potential to make it big in the movie industry. He is so versatile that he can do action, drama or even sexy roles. He has prepared himself in any possible roles he will be assigned through workshops and diligence. Because he has the height, 5’11 inches tall, he can also be a commercial and fashion model.
His love life became controversial when he and girlfriend of 3 years Bela Padilla chose to separate ways. It was quite a while before he was rumored with Jewel Mische on going out but denied instead it turned out that it was Jewel who invited Jason to attend a church service. To date, Jason focuses on his acting career and vows to do his best in his chosen career. The awards he had achieved can tell that he has the talent of an actor. For now he makes sure that he can seriously provide whatever role he is assigned to the best of his ability.

In addition, there are also various TV shows that he was part of such as “Precious Hearts Romance: Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin” in 2012, “Reputasyon” in 2011, “100 Days To Heaven” in 2011, “Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin” in 2011 and “Showtime” in 2011 to name a few. After the afternoon drama hit “Paraiso” with Jessy Mendiola, Jason appeared in the role of Omar in the prime time ABS-CBN teleserye “Juan de la Cruz” which starred Coco Martin on the lead role. It was a welcoming treat to Jason since he got to work with Erich Gonzales and Aaron Villaflor, his batch mates at the Star Circle Quest in 2004.
