Georgina Wilson, a Filipina-British model, VJ and host is born Georgina Diaz Wilson on February 12, 1986. She is part of the Diaz clan, a prominent and well known showbiz clan. Her mother is the late Rio Diaz a former beauty queen – actress and the sister of Miss Universe 1969, Gloria Diaz. Her father is a British MBA degree holder. Georgina is the eldest among three siblings, her younger sister is Jessica and her youngest brother is named Samuel. Georgina attended high school at the Assumption College in Makati. She was a good student academically as well with extracurricular activities. She later transferred to the Math Enrichment Program since she excelled in this subject. She pursued college and took up a course in Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University. She left Ateneo and decided to continue her studies at the University of Sydney with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Georgina is known to possess beauty and brains.
Georgina Wilson was offered an accounting job in London but had to decline the offer since she chose to come back here in the Philippines. In the Philippines she appeared in commercials like Century Tuna, Cream Silk, Palmolive, Ponds, Red Horse Beer and Will Cologne for Bench. She is a product endorser for famous brands like Bench Body, Canon, Globe, Kashieca, L Time Studio and McDonald’s. She also appeared in many cover spreads of Magazines. She has been offered several acting roles but she is still uncertain if she can handle and balance and venture into it. She is gaining popularity in the International scene; she has been invited to do some hosting jobs in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Korea.
Georgina Wilson has always loved music. Becoming a VJ has always been her passion. Georgina is the main face of Channel V Philippines. She was the former girlfriend of actor Richard Gutierrez. After they separated she was rumored to have dated a London-based chief executive officer who is nine years older than her. She is also linked to the Filipino model and actor Borgy Manotoc the son of Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos. They both posed nude for Preview magazine on the cover spread of the March 2011 issue. Georgina is currently under the management of Wyngard Tracy.
