Empress Schuck, a Filipina actress and commercial model is born as Empress Karen Carreon Schuck on February 19, 1993 to a German father and a Filipina mother. Empress studied at the Espiritu Santo Parochial School for a year and transferred to different schools. She is currently enrolled at the Angelicum College under a home study program. Empress loves to play the guitar and piano.
Empress Schuck first appeared on some GMA-7 shows like Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin,Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw, and Etheri. Empress is currently under the management of ABS-CBN and is a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic. Empress was discovered by ABS-CBN when she was just seven years old and at eleven, she appeared in the TV show, Bida Si Mister, Bida Si Misis and Super Inggo. She made her first movie, 9 Mornings when she was nine years old and bagged the Most Popular Child Actress in the 2003 Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. This award proved that she is indeed meant for the showbiz world. She played roles in several movies like Paquiao : The Movie, Angels, Shake, Rattle, and Roll 8, and Resiklo. These movies earned Empress a nomination for Best Supporting Actress of 2007.
As she matured, Empress Schuck evolved as an actress. Empress became a cast in ABS-CBN’s, Abt Ur Luv wherein she was paired with the young actor Dino Imperial and a love team soon bloomed out. Fans were so thrilled and happy with the match-up that they were named DinoPress. Empress soon played a role in the movie Hilot which was released in 2008 and soon casted in her first mature role in the TV remake of 1980’s film, Underage. At seventeen, Empress played her first lead and starring role in the TV series Rosalka. Empress, at twenty recently had her debut appearance in the Philippine edition of the leading men’s magazine FHM wherein she was introduced as the publication’s cover girl of the magazine’s March, 2013 issue. Although she may have some apprehension about posing for a Men’s Magazine, she rationalized that it is about time to leave her cute roles and pursue a more mature path for her career. Empress is proud of herself for being one of the successful child stars in show business when she started her career as young as 7 years old and has gone this far having a successful career in the show business.
