Emily Mallillin is an entrepreneur from Tuguegarao, Cagayan. She is involved in numerous civic society organizations at the city and provincial levels.

She ran for senator in 2019, placing 58th out of 62 candidates with 304,215 votes.

Mallillin returns to the Senate race under Partido Pederal ng Maharlika, campaigning on her previous campaign slogan “EMILY” or Edukasyon, Maayos na pamahalaan, Ina ng bayan, Lunasan ang kahirapan, Yaman ng bansa ay alagaan.

She is also running on her long-time advocacy of shifting the system of government to federalism. In 2019, Malilin said she supported reinstating the death penalty for plunder and the prohibition of mining nationwide.

“Pinili kong lumahok sa halalan bilang senador dahil naniniwala ako na ang suliranin sa bansa ay may pambansang saklaw na dapat lutasin sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalit ng sistema at mga angkop na batas sa buong bansa.”
