Ella first tried to compete with other children in a talent search entitled “Star Stuck” over GMA 7 Network. This gave her the opportunity for an acting career although she did not get to win in the said contest. It was in GMA network that she was given her biggest break, and that in this connection, Ella has won at least five (5) Best Child Actress Awards in different award giving bodies which made her the most popular child actress of her generations.

Ella felt like that was quite an experience and a dream come true. The film was also recognized in different parts of the world such as Athens, Ghent in Belgium, Spain, Hawaii and to the San Diego Asian Festival. “Graceland” won the best narrative feature in San Diego, California. After this film, Ella made two indies entitled “Ride To Love,” where she plays a granddaughter who teaches her grandmother played by Boots Anson Roa how to commute via MRT and in “Limang Dipang Tao” she played the role of a jeepney rider.
