Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion popularly known as KC Conception was born on April 7, 1985. She is the daughter of Actor Gabby Conception and Philippine actress-singer Sharon Cuneta. Her parents were annulled wherein her father Gabby immigrated to the US in 1995. After the annulment her mother married Senator Kiko Pangilinan where in KC has two step sisters Frankie and Miel. She is a singer-actress in the Philippines and is also currently the National Ambassador Against Hunger of The UN’s World Food Program.
KC Concepcion finished her grade school at Poveda and finished high school at the International School Manila. She pursued a course at the American University of Paris with a bachelor’s degree in International Corporate Communications with a minor in Theater Arts. KC wanted to pursue her studies in the United States but decided to come back in the Philippines and made her acting debut. She appeared in her mother’s birthday concert and played a role in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. Before KC became who she is now she became a product endorser for several products both for TV and print ads. She also became a VJ for MTV Asia.
In 2010 and also has been exposed to the theater production and musicals. She signed a contract with Star Magic but after a year with the agency she decided to join the Viva Artists Agency wherein her mother, Sharon Cuneta came from. KC has a lot to offer by just merely looking at her talents and credentials. KC has been a part and cast of three musical theater productions, Katy the Musical Concert, Beauty And The Beast and The Little Mermaid. Aside from acting, KC is also a good dancer and singer. She was able to record two albums under Sony Music Philippines. She is being recognized for this various talents. She has become one of the effective and known endorser in the Philippine market.
She did commercials like Palmolive Shampoo. After her controversial break up with matinee idol Piolo Pascual she still remained resilient and poise. She earned the peoples respect by maturely and professionally handling her failing and troubled relationship with Piolo.
