Tricia Santos is Patricia Mae Santos in real life, a Filipina young star that joined a reality show “Pinoy Big Brother,” but unluckily was evicted. She was born on May 18, 1995 in Mandaluyong, Philippines but her family later moved to Davao to take care of her grandfather’s business. Tricia studied at Ateneo de Davao eventually joined the volleyball team.

Tricia is known to be a wise spender. She often saved a portion of her allowance to buy what she wants. She has a strong desire to enter showbiz entertainment world yet her mother was strongly against the idea. Tricia then turned to rebellion like hanging out with older friends and staying out late at a very young age. She stands 5’7 and she was only 14 that time. An athletic and active type, she played volleyball and even got the award Bb. Palarong Pambansa.

Volleyball is beginning to gain its popularity again, which opened opportunities for the athletes to join showbiz world. They had begun to do product endorsements and other TV appearances. But for Tricia Santos, it is the other way around. Although her mom disapproves of her on entering the limelight, she is already a celebrity in her own right. She is already popular as a volleyball player aside from being a PBB housemate. She plays with the University of Santo Tomas, Golden Tigress wherein she wants to bring back the glory of this team.

Tricia Santos shares that it was really basketball that she wanted to play when she was little. It was when she turned 12 years old that she fell in love with volleyball. Her favorite is Rachel Ann Daquis and she really is an inspiration and a model for her. She is torn between acting and volleyball right now, and she still desires to be a doctor in the future. She reveals that volleyball is what her true passion belongs, and her heart is really into sports. When she was younger, she really had not decided on what career to pursue. But now that she’s 18 years old, she realized that she loves volleyball more but can still do some acting career when a right project comes her way.

She was so happy that the UST veterans had welcomed her into the team with open arms. This has added to her confidence and gained her self confidence one more time. They were busy preparing for the UAAP that time. It helps that there is a good rapport and communication with the team and the coach is accommodating and learned. Santos became the most-like Filipino volleyball player next to Grechen Ho.

Whatever she plans to do, Tricia is a rare find. She has more focus now and realizes what her dreams are. The PBB experience brought her to what she is now, and she is just so thankful to her mom for guiding her along the way. Tricia Santos hopes to be successful in her volleyball, acting career and education in the future.
