Rhian Denise Ramos Howell or known as Rhian Ramos was born on October 3, 1990 in Makati, Philippines. Her parents are Gareth Howell and Clara Ramos. She has an elder sister, Nadine. She is a niece of Ida Ramos Henares, a former Assistant Vice President of GMA Network. Her father, Gareth Howell is of British descent. She is a singer and an actress as well as a commercial model.

Rhian Ramos was first seen in a commercial when Annette Gozon saw her and asked GMA Artist Center to get in touch with her to audition for the series Captain Barbell. Indeed it has become Rhian’s first acting project. She co-starred with Richard Guttierez who played the role of Captain Barbell. It was then followed by other projects such as Stairway to Heaven and Lupin and she also took the lead role in My Only Love. Among other television appearances she made are Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang as Sharay, Codename: Asero as Claire Morales, LaLola as LaLolita “Lola” Padilla, Zorro as Lolita Pulido and the most recent TV appearance is Indio as Magayon and Pepito Manoloto: Ang Tunay na Kuwento as Ara Crisostomo.

Her first film appearance was in 2007 in the movie The Promise with Richard Guttierez and Angel Locsin. She also made her appearance in the horror movie Quija. Among the films she took part in are My Monster Mom, playing the young Esmeralda Fajardo, I.T.A.L.Y as Phoebe Villaroso, Sundo as Isabel, Ang Panday as Emelita, My Valentine Girls as Aia, The Road as Lara, Ang Panday 2 as Emelita, My Kontrabida Girl as Isabelle and Sosy Problems as Lizzie Consunji. In 2008 she was chosen to host Pinoy Idol Extra which is the daily updated edition of Pinoy Idol. Among other hosting projects she participated in are Unang Hirit, Cool Center, Kap’s Amazing Stories Kids Edition, Diz Iz It, Pinoy Records, Binibining Pilipinas 2010, Puso ng Pasko, In the Limelight, Manny Many Prizes, Kitchen Superstar, Sabadabadog, My Chubby World and Pare & Pare.

In 2006, she has posed as a cover girl for the September issue of Women’s Magazine. Among other magazine covers she appeared at are Candy Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Preview Magazine, Mega Magazine, Metro Magazine, Speed Magazine, Uno Magazine, Meg Magazine, Gadgets Magazine and Blush Magazine. In her 6 years of being in the entertainment industry, she was able to gain awards and recognitions, such as Golden Screen Awards: Breakthrough Performance for The Promise, nomination for 21st PMPC Star Awards for Television: Best New Female TV Personality for Captain Barbell, FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World (Philippines) for 2007 rank 20, FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World (Philippines) for 2008 rank 24, Asia Supermodel Contest Miss Vitality, YES Magazine 100 Most Beautiful Women Primetime Ladies Category, FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World (Philippines) 2009 rank 12, Asian Model Awardee (Korea), YES Magazine 100 Most Beautiful Stars for 2010 rank 23, FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World (Philippines) 2010 rank 17, and FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World (Philippines) 2011 rank 20.
