Ogie Diaz is a television presenter, talent manager, radio personality, and a comedian. He was born as Roger Diaz Pandaan in Quezon City on January 2, 1970. He is fondly called as Pekto by his showbiz friends which become an inspiration in naming the long running comedy sitcom Palibhasa Lalaki that stars Richard Gomez and Joey Marquez. His humble beginnings started when he worked as an assistant to the popular host Cristy Fermin working on Mariposa Publications. He eventually began to know many personalities in the show business and he became an entertainment writer and then an actor. He managed the career of popular celebrities in the show business like Vice Ganda. Ogie has four children with Mirasol del Rosario. He tried to pursue a career in the field of politics but failed when he lost in the 2010 election when he ran as a councilor for Quezon City.
