Jewel Fatima Avejade Mische or popularly known as Jewel Mische is a Filipina actress, born on June 29, 1990 in Manila Philippines and raised in Bulacan. Her father’s roots are of German-Spanish-American she was born from a Filipina mother. Jewel Miche went to UP Diliman to study music, Cathedral of Praise Bible College for her studies in Theology and the Yukota Aviation School.
Jewel Mische was a contender of GMA-7’s Star Struck in 2007. This young girl with the sweetest smile caught many viewers vote amounting to 157,618. Although she was not able to get the Ultimate Survivor Award which has rightly gone to the late Marky Cielo. She was able to get reality search’s award for the Ultimate Sweetheart. This won her P1 million worth of cash prize in addition to the P2 million worth of contract with the Philippine’s giant network GMA 7. She was also able to get a free franchise for Belgian waffle. She also became an Informatics scholarship grant as part of her prize. In addition to these prizes, she also received a contract to model for the Dutch Mill Yogurt Drink.
After the reality search, Jewel started appearing on several television shows and performed regularly at SOP. Her first acting job and lead role were at Magic Kamison, playing the role of Luming /Mina which was run on local TV for 6 weeks. For this series at Magic Kamison, she was nominated at the 21st Star Awards for Television for Best New Female Personality. She got into other projects like Mga Mata ni Angelita, Fantastic Man with Mark Herras and her first primetime series with Richard Guttierez and Maxenne Magalona, Kamandag.
She also became among the endorsers of Brit London line of shirts and signed up for an eight-picture contract with Regal films on September 1 of 2007. Her first appearance in Regal Films is at Shake Rattle & Roll 9, entitled Engkanto. At the end of her contract with GMA-7, she made a major move to ABS-CBN and joined Star Magic group of talents. Her first project with ABS-CBN as a Kapamilya was with Maalaala Mo Kaya: Ice Cream. Among other shows she took part in the network are Wansapanataym: Buhawi Jack as the love interest of Jack, 100 days to Heaven as Jessica Cruz, Maria La Del Barrio as Sabrina, and the most recent is at Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Paraiso together with Jessy Mendiola, Matteo Guidicelli and Matt Evans. To date, Jewel Mische is busy with her career as a flouring actress of ABS-CBN. She also keeps busy with Operation Smile, being an ambassadress of the said outreach program. In an interview with Boy Abunda at Bandila, Mische expresses the joy she felt over each child they are able to help.
