Maxene Sofia Maria Arroyo Magalona was born on November 23, 1986 in Manila Philippines. Her parents are the famous master rapper Francis Magalona and Pia Arroyo. She is the 3rd of eight children, the granddaughter of the late actor Poncho Magalona and Tita Duran. She shares the same birthday with her younger sister Isabella. She isn’t just a pretty face. She also has the brains to be proud of. She finished her studies at the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree of Social Sciences. Her father was diagnosed with leukemia and died on March 6, 2009. This was a very rough time for Maxenne’s family but she then intended to continue her father’s projects including his dad’s Sickos Project album with Ely Buendia and a documentary about his battle and fight against cancer.
Maxenne is currently under contract with GMA 7. Her first show was with ABS-CBN a kiddie show titled Ang TV which was then followed by 5 &Up. She is popularly known for her role and portrayal as Vivian Salvador in the TV series My Lover, My Wife and Donna Vallejo in Daddy Di Do Du, another TV series both appearing on GMA 7. Her biggest break is when she was chosen to be one of the leading ladies of Richard Guiterrez in the TV series Kamandag.
After Kamandag she played the role of Jessa in the Sine Novela: Una Kang Naging Akin. In the year 2009 Maxenne joined the cast of Ganti Ng Puso. She also had important roles in Kung Aagawin Mo Man And Lahat Sa Akin. In 2010 she joined the cast of Trusdis Liit.
Her movies would include: Cono Problems (2012), Rekrut (2010), Happily Ever After (2005), Kuya (2004), Singsingni Lola (2002), Mano Po 1: My Family (2002), Bahayni Lola (2001). She also bagged different awards like: 100 Sexiest Women, FHM Philippines (2009), Top Teen ‘IT’ Girl: Pure ‘N Fresh Role Model, Pure ‘N Fresh Top Teen Awards (2009), 100 Sexiest Women, FHM Philippines (2008), 100 Sexiest Women.
