Lyle Areanne Lopez was born on June 1, 1985 in Quezon City, Philippines and a popular child actor, singer and dancer in the world of Philippine entertainment. L.A. Lopez to his colleagues in the movie industry, he started his career as a child actor in the children’s variety show entitled “Eh Kasi Bata.” He was discovered by the late King of Comedy Dolphy in a reality search for little boys, “That’s my Boy.” L.A. was then included in the movie “John en Marsha TnT Sa Amerika.” After a couple of movies and TV shows, L.A. took a break from the showbiz industry.
He was only 10 years old when his father died, and that made him take a much needed break. L.A. decided to make a comeback at the age of 16. This was the time when he was welcomed by so many controversies and intrigues. Rumors spread that he is a homosexual, a retarded and weird. It is the moment where he got to know Jessa Zaragoza, a singer and actress who became a big sister to him. She was the one who helped and encouraged him to fight and face the challenges of life. But because he was not brave enough to meet the storms in his life, once again, he left showbiz and went to the United States of America.
He was one of the lucky Asian students who was able to get a George Bush scholarship, and enrolled in the Florida School of Arts. L.A. focused on his studies, but even in the U.S. he was still being haunted by detractors and bashes him online. As sensitive as he is, he took these negative comments deeply and had to ask himself if he really deserve the hate messages and even threats. Once more, he developed some kind of depression and pain in his heart.
It was at this fateful moment in his life that he got to evaluate and assess his true purpose in life. He quit and left his school and instead enters the Abundant Harvest Fellowship in Florida, USA. L.A. found the peace he had long been waiting for. He prayed for wisdom on how his talent be utilized for the greater glory of God. And in 2010, he went back to the Philippines, equipped with the goodness and the armor of God and starts fresh. He became the head pastor of Abundant Harvest Fellowship located in Quezon City.
He is now 27 years old, mature and more fulfilled as an individual. He was the composer of the theme song of the blockbuster TV series ‘My Binondo Girl,” entitled ‘I See You,” to the Kim and Xian love team. As a pastor, L.A. is responsible for leading and influencing young people know God through seminars and retreats, and to share the good news to people who had lost their faith and desire to have an eternal relationship with God. L.A. had found the rightful place where he really belongs and he is grateful for that realization and forgiveness he had been blessed by God.
