Tanya Katherine Rosales Lyttle in real life, Tanya Garcia has graced the show business with her presence as a film actress and a television star. Born on August 5, 1981, Tanya Garcia is one of the main cast in one of the longest running teleserye in GMA 7 Network, the Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga where she played the role of Cecilia and was paired with one of the bankable Filipino actor, Dingdong Dantes. She has a daughter with Mark Lapid who was the former Governor of Pampanga and the son of the former actor now turned Senator Lito Lapid.
Tanya Garcia has her biggest break when she was introduced as one of the teen stars in ABS CBN talent group Star Circle Batch 5. She made several television appearances and later took a break in order to pursue her schooling. When she signed up as a Viva Film contract star she was then a Mass Communication student at the Dominican College.
