Gwenaelle Zamora popularly known as Gwen Zamora was born in Australia and get to stay there for almost 6 years. The family transferred to the Philippines when she was already 14 years old. She pursued her studies at St. Benilde in Digital filmmaking. She typically travelled in different countries because of her father. Her acting career started in GMA Network when she played Cinderella on a TV show entitled “Grazilda.” She had also appeared in the movie and TV series “Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote,” and “Alakdana.” She starred in “Machete,” also in GMA, which was followed by ”Briteria,” and “My Beloved.”
She stands 5’4” and has mestiza features as she had the combination of French, Italian, Vietnamese and Filipino blood. Her father works as a pastry chef in five star hotels which is located almost all over the world that is why she gets the chance to travel with him in countries like Singapore, China and Thailand.
They returned to Australia and finally came back in the Philippines, hopefully for good. Of all the places they stayed, she had a special soft spot in Las Pinas, where she had a chance to stay for some years.
Gwen cherished her fond memories when she can play patintero with children around his neighborhood. She also loves Thailand and is quite amazed about their being multicultural. She admits she had a difficult time adapting to various cultures and tradition of the many countries she has been, but it also contributed to the totality of her well-being. But the experience she says strengthened and made her a street smart, can talk to different people, learned new languages and values.
Gwen also ranked 42 in the FHM Philippines Sexiest Woman in 2011. He has a boyfriend named Raymund Romualdez, son of Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez. She is just so happy with the relationship and sometimes it doesn’t help because she was playing a mean role in her current TV show under GMA entitled “Binoy Henyo.” She co-stars with Sheena Halili, Luis Alandy, and child actor David Remo.
Gwen portrays a role of Emily in the new TV series under GMA, but she disagrees that the role projects a typical villain, violent, shouting and physically abusing. The character has a different personality, and is rooted on a very deep reason.Viewers can understand the character once they got to watch the show. This is her third exposure for being a villainess, the two shows being “Briteria,” and “Aso ni San Roque.”
She hopes to be successful and improve her acting skills in the future, and probably get some awards to prove she can be better in her chosen career. She had already a large number of followers and aside from acting, Gwen is also into modelling and endorsing. Even though she is still busy with her career and lovelife, she makes it a point to take some rest and spend some time spoiling herself, just by sleeping or lying lazily on her bed.
