Born on November 10, 1988, Pauleen Marie Javier Luna, more commonly known as Pauleen Luna in show business is a Filipino actress and a television star. She had her break in the show business when she was cast as a regular host for the longest running afternoon show Eat Bulaga under the GMA Network. She played the character of Baby Loleng with a humorous role in the show. She was discovered as a television personality when she joined in 1995 in the Eat Bulaga’s Little Miss Philippines talent show. At the age of 13 she joined the ABS CBN’s Star Circle Batch 11 but later on she transferred to GMA Network where she became a regular host of the show. She has been in a relationship with Eat Bulaga’s bossing Vic Sotto who is 34 years older than her.
Pauleen Luna was named as the 9th sexiest women in the men’s magazine FHM Philippines in 2006. She also appeared on the cover of the UNO Magazine in its December 2006 issue, at A-List Magazine on 2007, Speed Magazine in 2008, Action and Fitness Magazine in 2009 and Yes! Magazine in 2010. Pauleen has made several television shows and guestings including Etheria where she played the role of Odessa, Ako si Kim Samsoon, a Korean telenovela adaptation of GMA. Among her other appearances on TV include Luna Mystika, Adik Sa’Yo, Ikaw Sana, and Trudis Liit. She was also a cast in the movies My First Romance (2003), Volta (2004), Blue Moon (2006), White Lady (2006) My Kuya’s Wedding (2007), Shake, Rattle and Roll (2007), Iskul Bukol 20 Years After (2008), Sigaw (2010) and Enteng Ng Ina Mo (2011). Among her television shows are Unforgettable, My Daddy Dearest, Iglot, Dwarfina, Sine Novela: Trudis Liit, Lokomoko U, Adik sa ‘Yo, Magdalena, Pinakamamahal, Encantadia, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, Qpids, My Guardian Abby, Marina and Bora: The Sons of Beach. Pauleen won the Best New Feamle TV Personality Award in 2004 which was awarded by the PMPC Star Awards for TV and was awarded by the PEP Forum Awards in 2010 as the Highly Recommended on Most Promising Star award.
