Kristel Aina Fulgar was born on December 30, 1994 and is a Filipina actress in the field of Philippine entertainment. She used to appear in the children gag show entitled “Goin Bulilit,” but eventually graduated in February 2007. She now pursues her college education in the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters taking up Communication Arts. She had appeared in TV commercials such as Knorr and Hapee when she was still little.
This young actress was so proud to be a part of the teleserye entitled “Dahil Sa Pag-ibig,” which was one of the blockbusters aired over ABS-CBN. She admits that it was quite an experience working with top actors and actresses of the country. She was nine when she started her acting career at “Goin Bulilit,” together with her batch mates Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo. She is happy that her colleagues were also blessed with their own drama anthologies, and that they are considered as popular already.
She may be playing supporting roles she says, but the feedbacks she gets are all positive which is a good sign that she is effective in her acting skills. She had also appeared in various TV shows such as “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” “Juan de la Cruz,” “Wansapanataym,” Mula Sa Puso,” “kung Tayo’y Mgkakalayo,” ‘1 VS 100,” “Maria Flordeluna,” “Your Song Presents: My Grow-Up Christmas List,” “kampanerang Kuba,” “Mulawin,” “Marina,” and “Bituin.”She had also co-starred in the films “Shake, Rattle and Roll X,” “Bahay Ni Lola 2,” “Forever My Love,” “Lastikman: Ang Unang Banat,” and “Malikmata.”
Kristel is not so busy with her showbiz career right now so she is taking the opportunity to focus on her studies for the moment. She believes that being a popular actress is fleeting but education is a lifetime achievement. She also hopes that she can be given challenging roles in the future that can improve and enhance her acting skills.
Being a child actress had helped her to be confident in facing the camera and large audiences. Her experience with her batch mates is the one cherished moments of her life, because they had considered their work as fun and enjoyable. When she was still in Goin’ Bulilit, she looks forward to Saturdays, where they got to meet with each other and play. The special bonding they had developed through the years of being co-workers had made them agree that the show had not only helped them do the right discipline in work but rather be able to interact and correlate with fellow children.
That is what the show taught them and up to now, they still live on to that legacy where ever they go and whatever role they are asked to do. If given the chance, Kristel would like to visit and guest once more with the show, where she started it all.
One day, she will look back and see herself in those little children, that like her, she was able to survive the test of time, and discover there is that passion inside her to be an actress. Kristel had grown to be a young, vibrant young lady who is ready to face new chapters unraveling in her life.
