Brad Turvey is a TV personality and commercial model in the Philippine entertainment. He is a combination of Chinese, Australian, Scottish descent, and had all the qualities of a real heartthrob. He decided to try his luck years ago. He was staying in Australia and he is used to beaches that he quickly fell in love with the country’s beaches and other amazing tourist spots. He is into diving and some badminton playing, and he plays with fellow actors and colleagues when time allows.
His stay in the country gave him the chance to have a feel of almost every place and food. He learned to like many Filipino dishes such as lechon, tapa and lumpia among his favorites. And he doesn’t forget to sneak out between tapings and his other activities to pig out on chips totally different from the one he had in Australia.
Brad was really born in Hongkong but he grew up in Australia, and he had a twin brother named Greg, but it was really he who displayed his interest in showbiz entertainment, modeling and endorsing. He was first spotted when he was having his vacation with his friends on a beach somewhere in the country, a talent manager offered him to model and the opportunity opened doors for him. Brad is a busy man and had worked with GMA 7 Network, and was a part of the fantasy series entitled “Encantadia” and “Nuts Entertainment.” He is also a DJ over RX 93.1 co-hosting “Morning Rush,” airing everyday. Brad also displayed his talent of hosting and he is frequently invited to host corporate events.
His endorsements included Champion, Doc Martens, Oakley and Blue Water Spa. Brad had modeled the creations of prestigious designers such as Randy Ortiz, Ariel Agasan, Rajo Laurel. He had also promoted and endorsed products of Milkwear, Nike, Tabu and Penshoppe. Brad had appeared in print ads of Penshoppe together with Mandy Moore.
He had a brief relationship with concert queen Pops Fernandez, and Nancy Castiglione, who was his friend for five years. Nancy spills out that it was better for them to break up because Brad has that different kind of personality of not speaking what is in his mind and she felt he is not comfortable with the relationship. Nancy was the one who decided to put an end to the relationship because she says a woman can only take so much pain.
